Construction Accounting Manager Company: MyBuilderCPA Location: Remote Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 40 hours per week Compensation: PHP 2,700,000 per year Job Summary MyBuilderCPA is hiring a Construction Accounting Manager to support residential construction clients across the United States. This is a remote, client-facing accounting role focused on construction accounting, job costing, financial review, account cleanup, and client communication. The position starts part-time and is expected to grow into a full-time role as client needs increase. About MyBuilderCPA MyBuilderCPA is an accounting firm that works exclusively with residential home builders in the United States. We support clients with bookkeeping, job costing, month-end close, and financial reporting using QuickBooks Online and construction management software such as Buildertrend and JobTread. Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage a portfolio of construction clients and serve as a primary point of contact</li><li>Lead client meetings, gather information, and identify accounting issues affecting financial accuracy</li><li>Review financial statements, job cost reports, and general ledger activity for completeness and accuracy</li><li>Identify issues related to job costing, cost coding, and financial organization</li><li>Help clean up and stabilize incomplete or disorganized accounting records</li><li>Support month-end close and help ensure timely, accurate reporting</li><li>Translate client questions and business needs into clear action items for the internal team</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients and team members to keep work moving forward</li><li>Respond to urgent client questions and help resolve accounting-related issues</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Experience in construction accounting, including residential, commercial, or subcontractor environments</li><li>Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online</li><li>Understanding of job costing and construction project financial workflows</li><li>Ability to review financial data and identify errors, inconsistencies, or process issues</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently in a remote environment</li><li>Ability to collaborate with a distributed team</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with Buildertrend, JobTread, or similar construction software</li><li>Experience cleaning up books or taking over disorganized accounting systems</li><li>Experience in accounting operations or back-office support for construction companies</li><li>CPA, bookkeeping certification, or similar credential</li></ul>Compensation and Work Structure<ul><li>40 hours per week</li><li>Full-time position</li><li>Remote role for candidates located in the United States</li><li>Annual compensation of PHP $2,700,000</li></ul> Work Environment<ul><li>Fully remote position</li><li>Regular client communication by video, phone, and email</li><li>Collaboration with U.S.-based clients and an offshore accounting team</li></ul>Apply If you have construction accounting experience and enjoy working directly with clients to improve financial accuracy and job costing, we encourage you to apply.
